Sun SushiThe original Sun Sushi Japanese restaurant was opened in St. John’s, Newfoundland in 2004. Japanese cuisine is famous for
its beautiful presentation as well as its high level of quality.After years developing a reputation for quality and affordable prices, Sun Sushi has since expanded to three locations serving the growing St. John’s area. Menu items are typically comprised of rice or noodles and meat, seafood and vegetables.
A Japanese meal generally includes tempura, miso soup, rolls, nigiri and/or sashimi. Staple foods are rice and noodles, such as udon and soba. Side dishes include seafood, pickled vegetables, and fresh vegetables. Generally, seafood is served as raw sashimi or nigiri. Fresh or pickled vegetables are served as rolls or nigiri.
